Kendra Intihar started the annual Well-Equipped Period drive in 2017 after learning that there was a prevalent local need for women’s hygiene products.
For eight years, Well-Equipped Period has provided access to period products for our vulnerable neighbors who may be unhoused, survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of human trafficking, or living in poverty for any reason. It has become the region’s largest drive of its kind, collecting and distributing hundreds of thousands of hygiene products through partnerships with fifteen local non-profit organizations.
The McIntosh Law Firm is happy to recognize Kendra Intihar as one of our Hometown Heroes for March. Chris Gelwicks, Community Association & Litigation Attorney with The McIntosh Law Firm, is here to thank Kendra for helping to make our community a wonderful place to live. The Firm will be making a donation to The Kindness Closet in her honor.
