For over twenty years Jack Conard has pursued his passion of Cornelius history. He has been collecting pictures and stories in an effort to record as much history as possible for future generations. He promised all the “old timers” that they would never be forgotten and he has certainly made good on his promise.
Jack’s contributions in helping discover and recall the past is immeasurable and is recognized in the Conard Collection in Cornelius Town Hall. It helps us remember the past and build a foundation for the future. All this makes him a perfect choice for the designation of Hometown Hero for February!
