Attorneys of the McIntosh Law Firm Volunteer for High School Mock Trial Tournament

Attorneys Jennifer Errington, Jim Fuller, Erika Erlenbach and Maren Werts of The McIntosh Law Firm in Davidson recently helped high school students get a firsthand look at what it’s like to be a lawyer at the Regional High School Mock Trial Tournament. The event was presented by the Carolina Center For Civic Education and the North Carolina Advocates For Justice. The tournament was held at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse and featured over 700 students from across the state.

“It’s important to encourage these students, help them learn more about the law, and give them a glimpse of what it’s like to present a case before a judge and jury in a courtroom,” said Jennifer Errington, who served as the Davidson Regional Coordinator for the tournament. She also coaches a mock trial team from the Davidson School of Law, and volunteers as a presiding judge and scoring juror for local, regional, and national competitions.

Jim Fuller was the presiding judge for the final round of the competition and Erika Erlenbach and Maren Werts were scoring jurors.
