Community Involvement

The McIntosh Law Firm’s mission statement is:
"Committed to Our Clients; Committed to Our Community"

The Firm's President, Bob McIntosh, believes in the importance of local businesses supporting community programs and events. These philanthropic ideals are exhibited by the Firm through donations and sponsorships provided to local charities and causes, and by physically taking an active part in community events as well.
The Firm's commitment to the arts has been and is reflected in its past support of The Royal Shakespeare Company's residency at Davidson College, the support of Davidson College Students Union’s Artist Services and many other events including the Charlotte Symphony's performance in Cornelius. The Firm has sponsored the Cornelius Performing Arts Series, a host of free concerts and performances held in area parks, since its inception in 2000.

The Firm also sponsors Christmas in Davidson, the Huntersville and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, the Chris Justice Special Olympics Golf Tournaments, the Cornelius Police Department’s D.A.R.E. Tournament and the Loch Norman Highland Games. The Firm's sense of local pride and community leadership is reflected in their monetary support of the Cornelius/Davidson youth athletic programs, the Lake Norman YMCA, and the Davidson Community Players, as well as through support of civic and charitable organizations.

When asked why the Firm exhibits so much support to the community, Bob McIntosh states:

"It’s the right thing to do. Local businesses must support the community, as the community supports our business. Support for local programs completes the circle by adding to the quality of life for all who live and work here. We live in the community and draw our client base from here. It is only natural that we would want the community to be as diverse and enriched as possible.”

Our Firm’s staff and attorneys also are extremely active in our community through church membership, Lions Club, Jaycees, the Mecklenburg County Bar, the Mending Hearts program, The Davidson Community Players, Williams Masonic Lodge, Oasis Shrine Temple, The Scottish Rite, The Iredell Soccer League and other community sports programs and many local groups and boards.
