Amy Shue Isaacs was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and has lived in Mecklenburg County her entire life, currently in Huntersville. Amy attended college at Montreat-Anderson College in Montreat, North Carolina and UNC-Charlotte, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Following graduation from college, Amy went to work for a local non-profit organization which experienced legal problems related to its legal status as a non-profit entity. It was this experience that opened Amy’s eyes to the many ways in which lawyers can help solve problems and help their clients in the process. Thereafter, Amy worked as a paralegal at a law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina prior to returning to school to earn her law degree.
Amy is a member of the firm’s estate planning department, and her primary areas of practice are wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate planning, as well as probate and estate administration. Amy still makes problem solving and helping clients the keys to her practice, and strives to make the whole process as “painless” as possible.
Amy also devotes a significant part of her practice to providing pro bono legal services to clients and families of Hospice & Palliative Care of Lake Norman, Our Towns Habitat for Humanity new homeowners, and to the men and women who serve in the military, medic, fire, and police, departments.
Amy resides in Huntersville with her husband, Paul, and her son, Ethan.
