About
Chris Gelwicks has been practicing law for over 25 years and focuses his practice on the representation of homeowners and condominium associations in all areas: formation and operation, collections, and litigation.
With over 60 jury trials, hundreds of bench trials, and mediations through his career, Chris uses this experience to advise boards and managers on all aspects of community association law with a unique focus on resolving potential conflict efficiently and effectively.
He has represented association clients in trial courts throughout North and South Carolina, the North and South Carolina Court of Appeals, and North Carolina Supreme Court.
Chris has spoken at the National CAI annual conference and is a regular presenter at the CAI-NC Law Day and annual conferences. He has presented a CLE on community association law for the South Carolina Bar and also serves on the CAI Case Law Update Team.
